But seriously, these shorts from target with built in bikers and zippered pockets were a game changer this trip!
I was comfy, felt cute, and could easily get my phone to take 2548273 pictures! (And I didn’t lose it—see zipper comment above!)
10/10 recommend.
Oh, and this #halara knock-off dress was comfy too! But an absolute pain to get up and down to use the bathroom. When it’s 92 degrees and everything—I mean EVERYTHING—is sweaty… stuff just doesn’t wanna move.
I’ll definitely be buying the dresses with the bathroom friendly shorts underneath!
Also… moms. You will come home with SO much more stuff than you brought! Keep that in mind when packing, especially if you’re flying. I had to buy a second carryon bag this trip just to get our stuff home!

Start your adventure like Harry and pick up your wand at Ollivanders in Diagon Alley! (You may even be selected as the special witch or wizard during the ceremony!)
Want to get some wizard cash to go shopping? You need the latest in fashionable robes before heading off the school… after all! Go visit the money exchange and talk to the Goblin bank teller… he may even talk back!
Cast spells (I can share the secret ones!), and even take a stroll down Knockturn Alley… if you dare! (Listen out for an unlikely creature trapped inside a few items in Borgin and Burkes!)
You definitely want to have park tickets to each theme park so that you can experience all the charms and magic! Make sure you have a park-to-park ticket, as well! Not only does this mean you get access to both parks in the same day, but it’s the ONLY way you can ride the Hogwarts Express! (And, walk STRAIGHT through the wall at Platform 9 3/4!)
Then, you’re off to Hogwarts to continue the adventure! (And, drink more butterbeer!!)

Years ago, my therapist threw me a curveball: “What do you do for fun? Any hobbies?” My mind went blank.
Everything I enjoyed was linked to my kids, job, volunteering, or something else. There was nothing just for me.
She nudged me towards a bit of self-indulgence. And, given my knack for multitasking, I wondered: What could boost my fitness, mental health, and actually be fun?
Yoga, journaling, and reading were great, but something was missing. Then, runDisney entered the scene.
Confession time: I used to despise running. It was my dad’s (and former track coach’s) go-to punishment for my teenage missteps. Confession: I deserved it!
Yet, I adore Disney, and running promised physical and mental benefits plus precious me-time with my favorite music and podcasts. So, I gave it a shot and—surprise—I loved it!
You don’t need to be an Olympic athlete; I’m certainly not. But the runDisney community was the piece I didn’t know was missing. The creativity, the costumes—it was love at first race for this former #pageantgirl.
Now, I eagerly anticipate these “race-cations.” The training benefits me in every way, even making me a better mom. After all, that role is still my top priority.
