Haven't been out much in the last month+ but recently decided to revisit some photos from 2+ years ago. These are from a trip we took through NM/AZ/CO. I was 19 at the time and had only had my camera for a few months, and had just started playing with editing my photos for even less. I'm by no means a professional photographer at this point, but it is fun to look back and see how my "style" has developed. Not only was I shooting for quantity over quality usually, my editing was almost always super bright and colorful. To each their own, but these toned down, darker reedits are much nicer to look at I think.

Last post from our Colorado trip. On our last evening before heading home we made our way through the Arkansas River Canyon on Hwy 50 twords Cañon City at sunset. The views around each corner were somehow better than the last, and we stopped probably half a dozen times. Very cool area with lots of camping options.

This tire carrier from has completely changed the way we can travel for the better. Most importantly it let the spare move out of the rear cargo area freeing up a TON of space (and it's only a 32!) And allowing for me to put in my drawer system. But beyond that, having the fold down table and cutting board is unreal. I've lost track of how many times we've popped it down and made sandwiches on it without having to get anything else out of the truck. Being able to make lunch at any trailhead or parking quickly and easily is a game changer. This thing is built like a rock and well worth the price tag and production time. Ask away any questions and I'll be happy to share my thoughts.

Scenes from Bishops Castle, the largest one man built castle in the world located in San Isabel National Forest east of Westcliffe, CO. Still under construction, it's enter at your own risk. We went early in the morning on a Sunday to beat the crowds. It's a very interesting, but cool, place. If you live in Missouri and have ever been to the City Museum in St Louis, it's like that, but more real.

FINALLY got my reservation in but I guess after waiting for three years for this dang thing to arrive I could wait another three hours. This has turned out to be everything I wanted it to be. It's all they hype. Rapid Red base model with a hardtop, 2.7, and Sasquatch package (lockers, 35in tires) coming next summer.
