Edit. Tested in this mornings sunlight happily charging at 14.4volts taken it from 67% last night to 96% dinner today, very happy with it,

Brackets made and Solar panels fitted and working I think, no sun left to test them but the green lights say it working lol. Made a front spoiler for the roof rack, works a treat no noise now.

Well the Solar Panels have arrived everything I need, not to happy with the flimsy alloy brackets so I'll make some out of galvanised steel 3 down either side should suffice, just to be sure, don't want them blowing off the wind force under them will be tremendous, I'll also make a wind deflection plate for the front of the unistruct framework to divert majority of the wind. Better safe than sorry.
All to wire up being an Electrician comes in handy lol.

So here we go modifying the two seats making it into one without comprising the original struture, thought I could do without it but being my only vehicle now it's handy. When going out or even taking the grand kids shopping birthdays and Christmas, (just one at a time lol, costs less) this will leave room for my fridge in the centre and still have a removable centre console, the diesel heater fits nicely underneath in the centre, then under the seat will be compartment for jack etc.
Little jobs like these I'm very grateful of my 1st year apprenticeship where we learnt metal working, welding, how to use machinery properly etc etc.

Ive made my framework ready for my solar panels when they arrive 2 now then 2 later then I'll be totally off grid, just means I can stop in one place for longer,
Got to keep under 100kgs in total, worked it out to around 70/80kgs when done.

So I've spent 3 hrs roaming around Central Wales looking for a pub stopover for some grub, been to 6 on my app 4 were shut and 2 looked like they were being renovated, I hadn't a clue where I was cos I'd lost 4g data, all I could remember was A44 and A470 so just kept going till I bumped into one of them 😀 found a pub but food finished, can't be arsed to do owt so going to have kip and get early start, last day of this trip tomorrow,

15°c here, but can see clouds coming over the mountains, must be over 100 campervans of all description here, every pub, every shop, every cafe, 4 fish and chips massive queues the local economy must be prosperous, you can see its not run down only seen one shop closed up, when you think 100 vans plus 1000s of cars that's couple 1000 people here all want feeding, shopping etc etc.
Had to queue 10mins just to get an ice cream lol. 🤦

Aberdyfi next was called Aberdovey when I was an apprentice, part of my apprenticeship was to go to Outwardbound school for a month, loved every minute of it. Will bring back 50 year old memories lol 🤔 seem to remember my favourite activity was surf canoing amongst many things we did, it was very strict, up in the morning at 6, run, then swim in the Lake, just to make sure you was awake ready for that day's activities, but it taught you discipline, respect.

This is more like it Criccieth special bays, but £16.50 a night, 🤔 should I stay or should I go now lol 😆 it's 5pm think that'll do for the day, seen as I've had 2 free nights so really it'll cost me 16.50 for 3 nights £5.50/night 🤔 I know of a layby bit further on for nowt, lol.

Now Pwllheli I can't get over how much hatred there is from the councils for campervan/motorhomes to say its a bank holiday there's less people than at Cleethorpes it's dead really, you can see the odd places that facilitate for vans they're heaving, coining it in here shops are boarded up lol.
A Costa that's all they getting out of me 🤦🤣 that's only cos I need a p*e lol

So I'm in Asda would be rude of me not to participate in breakfast seen as it cheap, it's a super store, but not super when it to trouser size, who the he'll is a skinny 34 waist 1 pair of shorts and 1 pair of going out trousers, jeans no chance, so it looks like summers here, shorts in day, baggy trousers if I go in pub got couple t shirts, socks, no trainers that fit so will have to clean my other pair.
Not a bad breakfast for £8.35 😋😋

That was a long couple hrs never heard anything till 5.30ish this morning, been in one those special sleeping bays, think that's what this sign means. But they certainly work 😂 then a good old friend rang me Frank Hailstones not heard from him for years nice to catch up, on the tinnys in the loving sunshine temp in the 30s here 7°c 😂 of to Asdas now get some jeans that fit 😉 😂😂

Got loads of Videos but you have post them separately so won't bother lol. But this one shows how to get into car park free of charge, by the way the charity was Seal Sanctuary, I've since made a donation on line, lol kidding I haven't, I'm to tight 😆

This is more like it, just the other side is the Sea but, away from everyone. Time to get settled lol

I knew I'd heard of St Bees before, it's the start of a couple of famous walks and one of the best sandy beaches on the west coast, on a clear day if you look out over the Irish Sea you can see the Isle of Man.

Wow about halfway through this Video, I thought why the hell the person in front jammed his brakes on, there's a river flowing across the road, good job he was in front I wouldn't have seen it I'm blind. 🤦🤣🤣
