Peter Sussman Twin Cities Tours Peter Sussman is a registered architect and urban historian with a passion for preservation.

A lifelong resident of Minneapolis, Peter volunteers his time to organizations such as Preserve Minneapolis and the Linden Hills History Study Group. Peter Sussman, “tour guide extraordinaire” according to a participant in one of his Road’s Scholar tours, is a registered architect and urban historian with a passion for preservation. His career includes a number of historic projects including the r

enovation of Sumner Library in North Minneapolis. A lifelong resident of Minneapolis, Peter volunteers his time to organizations such as Preserve Minneapolis, the Linden Hills History Study Group, and the Edina Heritage Preservation Board, all of which promote and celebrate Twin Cities architectural and cultural history. He is a tour guide for Road Scholar’s “Signature City Minneapolis Art, Architecture, Theater and Music” travel program, as well as a leader of corporate tours for companies such as Marvin Windows. He has been featured in several documentaries by Twin Cities Public Television about the history of the Twin Cities.
