We ended up in a new park this week. It's always fun to adventure out even though it's an hour and a half from Jason's work! Due to the massive flooding in this area, two of the local thousand trails RV parks are closed (Ponderosa and Morgan Hill). Pondarosa is our other usual park so we were diverted to Lake of the springs. We could have stayed and paid by the day at Lake Minden, but there's a possibility of evacuating that area close to the feather River. We've always wanted to stay at this park. It's absolutely huge and really has a lot of amenities. The downfall is the distance from just about everything. I have yet to use most of the amenities because it is absolutely pouring rain with 25 mph winds. However, we got a little treat on the way to the laundry today!
