My Disney Story....
My love for Disney began as a kid......watching Disney movies and cartoons, listening to movie soundtracks and dreaming of being a princess! I was lucky enough to get to go to Disney World when I was about 11, and the experience was magical. I honestly don’t remember a lot of details about that first trip. I just remember the way I felt, spending that time with my parents and little brother and sister, in the most magical place on Earth.
As I got older and had my own children, I dreamed of the day I would get to take them to share in the magic. For years I planned “our trip” in my mind. I pinned thousands (literally) of things to Pinterest boards, I joined Facebook groups dedicated to Disney and followed so many Disney related accounts on Facebook and Instagram that I rarely saw posts from people I actually knew on my feeds anymore. It wasn’t until my oldest was 7 that we actually got to take that trip.
I will never forget the day that we told our kids we were going to Disney World. I’m fairly certain that my excitement in that moment was far more than theirs. I couldn’t wait to step onto Main Street, USA and see the castle and look at their faces and see the magic through their eyes. I can honestly say that it was everything that I imagined and more. Our first trip was nothing short of magic, and it had us hooked!
Since that trip, we have taken many more. Some of them adults only, some of them spur of the moment (which isn’t easy 13hrs away) and some of them spent together as a family. I am so incredibly excited to share my favorite place with everyone who wants to experience a piece of that magic for themselves. The beauty in Disney is that it is truly a welcoming place for everyone. Whether you want to travel alone, with your significant other, or with 10 of your family members, there is a vacation for every person at Disney!
