The “dragonfly” at Mashpi Lodge in the cloudforest of Ecuador is a 1.2 mile long cablecar system that silently flies above and through the cloudforest canopy, at one point 700 feet in the air. It’s like flying in a hot air balloon.
The dragonfly is used to drop of guests deep in the heart of the Mashpi reserve that would otherwise be inaccessible. You can hike in and ride out, ride in and hike out - or just ride around if you don’t want to hike.
