Project Introduction:
The VR REACH Project is a culmination of the team's expertise, with a mission to innovate within virtual reality. The project addresses a unique challenge: helping individuals with autism who struggle to leave the safety and familiarity of their homes. By utilizing VR, they aim to provide these individuals a means to experience the world outside their confines safely, thereby helping them adjust and acclimate to real-world scenarios.
Vision:
The project harnesses the power of VR to provide experiences ranging from simple outdoor scenarios to complex real-world interactions. With experiences like restaurant dinners, beach days, or zoo visits, the intent is to help autistic individuals and therapists break barriers.
