First painting of 2020, actually I started it back in December and just signed off on it today. It’s a 1948 vintage International fire truck with a gorgeous weathered patina! 32”x34” oil on canvas.

Last painting of 2019 - Spawning Sockeye in Kingfisher Creek, 28"x18". I loved painting this one because the annual salmon run is such an amazing and inspiring event to witness. I count myself fortunate to still see them make their epic journey.

With this year down to the last grains of trickling sand, I finally got around to photographing my paintings from 2019! Here is a painting from earlier this year inspired by our trip to Cuba. Havana is absolutely magical with its colorful old architecture. This is Calle Refugio (32"x34"), a street in Old Havana.

Because of the devastating hurricane, Willa. which was a direct hit on Lorenzo's South in Teacapan a couple of months ago, we won't be booking rooms until next year. A lot of repairs need to be done first. Sorry......
