Family ride in the south ☺🚲👪❤
Many hotels in Taiwan offer free bike rental throughout your stay. Legend hotel in Kaohsiung even has a few bikes with baby seat already installed. 😍👍 This way we all enjoyed a really pleasant sunset ride around Pier 2 touristic area.

Father and son tour🚴🚵
Mr. Bjorn and his son Nanook came from Hamburg, Germany to cycle around Taiwan. They said this is quite an adventure for them as they had not done tour cycling before, but just daily biking in Hamburg. We were very pleased to meet them and we wish them a safe and smooth trip.

Polish Weronika and Kamil started the adventure of their life, nine months ago, when they set off on their bikes from Poland to Japan. Now they are in Taiwan for a tour of the island and enjoy Formosa for two months. 😌❤ We were their first host here and we wish them a smooth and safe journey ahead. 🌞🚴‍♂️🚴‍♀️🌼🌸🌺

Our first day of the new year started with these two happy people who finished an adventurous ride in the mountains in ChingJing, WuLing. Since for most people visiting HuaTung will come from Taipei or Yilan by train to Hualien first, there won't be a lot of time left after arriving at Hualien train station. This could be the best part of cycling through east rift valley in Taiwan. A lot of cyclists or bikers in Taiwan call route 193 the most beautiful route to bike in east coast since all the villages that it passes are not so well developed and have kept the origin of its natural beautifies. On this route, you may not find any amazing buildings or fancy parks made for tourists, but you can experience the peaceful and beautiful side of Taiwan. [ 96 more words ]

If you stay overnight near Liyutan, make sure you wake up early and stroll around the lake with your bicycle. It is very refreshing and by chance you might get to see beautiful sunrise from the east coastline. After breakfast, you can start this day by visiting Chihnan Forest Park and ride down hills to connect onto Taiwan Cycling Route number one, which was the main cycling route that has been promoted by the government in the past few years. Taitung part of east rift valley is full of rice fields that grow high quality of rice we eat everyday here in Taiwan. Therefore, you should spend more time strolling around the small roads in between the rice fields and to enjoy different views in different time of the year.
