Congratulations to Executive Women in Government (in partnership with The Training Connection, Inc.) as they celebrate 10 years of women helping women grow personally and professionally through mentoring. The 2024 mentors and mentees attended a live session hosted at NASA HQ and wrapped up their formal mentoring partnerships. “Although this event signaled the end of the formal support, we don’t see it as the end of the mentoring partnerships,” comments Kathy Wentworth Drahosz. “Wonderful professional friendships have been made, and many plan to continue mentoring long after the program celebration!”

The celebration began with opening comments by EWG’s Mentoring Program Champion, Mary Hammond, as she shared the power of developing important relationships and mentoring connections with women interested in reaching the next level in their federal careers. Guest Speaker Mika Cross, shared the impact of mentoring in transforming the workplace.

Team TTC spent the day relaxing and recharging ourselves last week with a team rejuvenation day! We like to practice what we preach, and in order to give our clients the best that TEAM TTC has to offer, we must take care of ourselves first! This can be a great way to recharge and revitalize your team. We spent the day in a beautiful outdoor setting enjoying the sun, amazing food, a swimming pool, ice cream truck and of course a water slide. Team TTC definitely found their inner 12 year old selves and had a blast together laughing, eating and sliding!

Remember, the goal of a team rejuvenation day is to help your team recharge and feel refreshed. If you are looking to recharge your team be sure to try to tailor activities to your team's interests and preferences to make it a memorable experience. We are now ready to give our clients the best US we have to give!

One of the many gifts of mentoring is being able to share your insights and lessons learned. The EWG Mentoring Program recently facilitated ‘The Road to Senior Leadership Panel’ and it was a huge success! The panel consisted of EWG Mentors that have successfully ascended to the senior level positions in federal government and they were able to share their proven strategies, actionable advice, and insider tips for navigating the complex landscape of federal leadership for our Mentees to consider, as they continue to map out their own leadership journeys.

Now in its 10th year, the EWG Mentoring Program is the perfect opportunity for high-performing GS-14s and above to:

· Gain support during career advancement into a senior level position.

· Develop a powerful network of women role models and senior executives.

· Develop the leadership skills, knowledge, and abilities needed for success.

EWG’s goal is to break down barriers for women who may feel isolated once they enter senior-level executive positions. What a great way to celebrate and support a woman’s call to service!
