Norwegian Cruise Line recently announced that it will debut new Panama Canal cruises with roundtrip sailings through the legendary canal in 2022. 🤩

Norwegian is the first major large-ship cruise line to homeport in Panama.

Apart from future-proof environmental technology, the MSC Seascape will see nearly 70% of her public spaces completely re-designed in the Seaside class to enhance the guest experience with an aim to offer beautiful venues and locations to connect with the sea:

🔸 2,270 cabins with 12 different types of rooms and suites with balconies, including coveted aft suites.
🔸 11 dining venues, 19 bars, and lounges with many options for 'Al Fresco' dining and drinking
🔸 Six swimming pools, including a stunning aft infinity pool with incredible ocean views
🔸 The MSC Yacht Club will be the largest and most luxurious in MSC Cruises' fleet, with almost 3,000 sqm of space to provide sweeping ocean views from the ship's foredecks.

Costa Cruises presents a new way of cruising 🚢

Costa Cruises has announced a new concept focused on cuisine, tours, and sustainability that enables guests to explore destinations through unique onboard and ashore experiences.

1️⃣ Cuisine: Costa has created two new features to ensure guests enjoy their culinary voyage to the full: the Archipelago restaurant and Destination Dishes. Destination Dishes are recipes designed by three renowned chefs, interpreting the traditions and flavors of the places guests will be visiting the following day. The Archipelago restaurant gives guests a unique culinary experience with three menus to choose from, one by each chef.

2️⃣ Sustainability: The chefs' menus were designed with the greatest attention for the ingredients and how they are prepared to prevent food waste. Also, the driftwood decorating the "island" tables were salvaged as part of "Guardians of the Coast," the environmental education program for the protection of the Italian coastline run by the Costa Crociere Foundation.

3️⃣ Tours: The company has rethought its entire range to enable guests to explore hidden, rarely visited gems. The itineraries have been redesigned to accommodate the longest-ever stopovers in ports, giving guests whole days to unhurriedly explore their destinations and make the most of their entire cruise.

Costa has also transformed its distinctive sign with a new visual identity. The most significant innovation lies in the company logo, particularly its most recognizable element: the iconic "C" accompanying Costa on seas worldwide for over 70 years. 🌊

Costa's latest innovations are already available on ships currently in service. 🛳️

Great news! 🤩

Cruise ships are returning to Brazil this month. 🇧🇷

After months of negotiations, the green light for the country’s domestic cruise restart was finally announced. 🙌

The country is now working with local authorities in homeports and ports of call to create an operational plan for the cruise ships. Specific health rules, protocols, and quarantine definitions are also in the works and set to be published soon, the government said in a press statement. 🩺

Preliminary protocol plans call for ships operating with reduced capacity, COVID-19 testing for all passengers before boarding, vaccinated crew, use of face masks on board, and more. In addition, shore excursions will need to be organized by the cruise lines in a bubble format, following the protocols implemented by the ships and the cities being visited. 😷

The government expects calls in several destinations around the country, including Santos, Rio de Janeiro, Salvador, Angra dos Reis, Búzios, Fortaleza, Maceió and Ilhabela. 🚢

After a 20-month gap, the country will host seven vessels for the local 2021-2022 season. Popular in the region, itineraries to Argentina and Uruguay are out the plans for the time being. So are transatlantic crossings and other international itineraries.

Carnival Cruises announces accomplishment-filled three months since resuming guest operations this summer. 🤩

The company's restart began on July 3, 2021, when Carnival Vista set sail from Galveston. Since then, 10 additional ships have resumed service, carrying 237,000 guests from homeports along the East and West Coasts and the Gulf of Mexico. 🚢

98 voyages sailed. 237K guests. 11K adrenaline-fueled rides on BOLT, the first roller coaster at sea. 180K shore excursions taken. ✨

Carnival Cruise Line has announced plans to have 17 ships back in guest service by the end of 2021, with additional ships returning in January and February and the entire U.S. fleet back in guest operations by spring 2022. 🙌
