"اكتشاف عملاق تمثال الملك أمنحتب الثالث يظهر من تحت الأرض!"
في عام ٢٠١٣، كشفت أرض زراعية خاصة في منطقة كوم الحيتان بالأقصر عن سر مدفون. تم العثور على تمثالين للملك أمنحتب الثالث، واحد من ملوك مصر العظام. يظهر التمثال الملك في وضعية وقوف مهيبة، بارتفاع يصل إلى 14 مترًا ووزن يقدَّر بحوالي 100 طن.
