- The main problem for every professional photographer is a big size of RAW files. Each wedding can be about 30-100 Gb. How do you solve the problem of files transfer?

- ...It’s not difficult to upload 40-50 Gb if you have a good internet connection. You can simply start uploading before you go to sleep and finish it in the morning. However, there is another way, which is usually used by professionals. I’m talking about a Smart Preview function which was integrated in the last versions of Lightroom. This function allows compressing RAW file without any quality losses for the next postproduction. All pro photographers who know about this function prefer to work with LR catalogues. Catalogue’s size is less than 1Gb so you can transfer it within 5-15 minutes.
