Our 7th Annual East Hawaii Jazz & Blues Festival main event at Nani Mau Gardens will be from 1:00 to 7:00 P.M. on Sunday, October 27th. Tickets are on sale online at hawaiiislandveterans.org, at Basically Books in Hilo, from HIVM Board Members and at the Hilo Hawaiian Hotel. Get'em now (General admission $65, V.I.P. $90) before September 27th. Price goes up On September 27th to general admission $75 and V.I.P.

It's about time that Denali became the official name. I flew many tours around this amazing gorgeous mountain during the last 7 years of my 33 year bush flying career in Alaska. Checkout the link below for for some of my fairly spectacular Alaska flying photos including several around Denali. Click on any photo for a full-screen version. Great that it is now the official and original name. Alaska is a gorgeous state for a pilot. My photo captions refer to Denali as Mt. Mckinley, but Denali is the true name.
