Current situation: mountains, valleys, meadows, cowbell #Dolomites #SudTirol #AltoAdige

Today we had lunch at a trabucco, which is a traditional wooden fishing platform used in this area (with an onsite restaurant). It reminded me of a New England seafood shack, but more wine and less lobster. One of my favorite meals so far. #Peschici #Gargano #Puglia

Yesterday we explored #Trani, a town in #Puglia where my grandfather was born in 1892 and came from a long line of Fabianos that were in the maritime/shipping industry. We went to the city's records office & got my lineage back to 1690, found Palazzo Fabiano, explored Pen*sola Colonna where my great grandmother used to own land, ate some delicious seafood, and enjoyed walking around this lovely port town on the Adriatic. It's good to find your roots, wherever they may be.

Wave pool in the middle of Budapest? Don't mind if we do!
