Thank you again to all who prayed for us during our Living Waters Pilgrimage--they were felt! The Holy Spirit permeated our time together, evident in the beauty of creation, but especially the beauty of each pilgrim and everyone we met on our journey! In the midst of this immense joy, we also remember the sorrow of all who are suffering in the Holy Land, especially the 100+ hostages, their families, all the innocent victims of war as we pray for their protection, and our many friends, among them David Katz, Shira Harpaz Pomeranz, Dov Chen and George Safar.

What a surprise to wake up to clear skies and a full moon this morning! Our first stop was to. Frank Lloyd Wright's Falling Water, the phenomenal house he built using the landscape and environment to inspire and literally integrate it into the design and build. We had plenty of time to walk the scenic grounds, go on an educational one hour + tour of the house, enjoy lunch before heading to Pittsburgh. We visited Shepherd's Heart Fellowship, a church whose whole mission is to the homeless with a special emphasis on veterans. They are doing the work that Jesus did, going after the lost and marginalized, providing for them physically, spiritually, emotionally. It was the most moving way to conclude our Living Waters Pilgrimage as the Holy Spirit is vibrantly alive and active and evident in their ministry and the fruit it bears. They have helped 700 veterans who were homeless achieve independence through their inspired efforts, their love for Christ and the sharing of his gospel. We thank God for all the experiences we had this past week and for you who held us up in prayer! Special thanks to Rev Susan Tiffany and parishioners from St. Paul's Episcopal Akron, OH , St. Hilary Catholic Parish-Fairlawn OH and various churches in the greater Akron / Cleveland area who made our pilgrimage so meaningful.

We awoke to a beautiful crisp morning, a fairly clear sky and beautiful fall foliage on our trip to Ohio Pyle National Park. There we witnessed an incredible waterfall, a video of which is below, that in its own way speaks eloquently of the Living Waters of the Holy Spirit in his cleansing power and love. We spent the rest of the day at St. Vincent Archabbey and college campus in Latrobe PA, where we enjoyed a two-man docent team tour of the pristine Basilica Church, made by hand by benediction monks and lay craftsman in the 1800s. The monks baked their own bricks on site and milled wood from the Chestnut Ridge across from the Basilica. It's still stands as a marvelous monument to the grit, talent and hard work of the monks who were self-sufficient when they established themselves here. We ended our day with an inspirational talk by Fr. Patrick Cronauer, OSB, professor and biblical scholar, who spoke to us about the Holy Spirit's work in Genesis and in us today! Some of our pilgrims toured the Fred Rogers Center on campus, with displays from Mr Rogers' Neighborhood and separate crafting exhibitions and demonstrations. Truly a marvelous day!

It was a fun day of adventures today beginning with "a little taste of heaven" with our tour of Platters Chocolate Factory, Tonawanda, NY! Interestingly they took over the original Wurlitzer building where organs were once made. From there we enjoyed an amazing lunch, pampered by the people at My Tomato Pie, Amherst, NY. Before leaving NY, we were awestruck by the beauty and majesty of Our Lady of Victory National Shrine and Basilica, Lackawanna.Then we took a fairly long journey to Ligonier, PA, sharing more about learning to listen to the Holy Spirit and enjoying a robust competition of Bible trivia :-). Thank you for praying for us on this journey where many new friendships are being forged, while deepening our spiritual lives together in the Holy Spirit who is the unifying force of Love, both in the Trinity and in the body of Christ!

What a refreshing first day it has been for nearly 50 participants on our Living Waters pillgrimage. Led by Rev Susan Tiffany of St. Paul's Episcopal Akron and Randy Malick of St. Hilary Catholic Parish-Fairlawn OH We traveled to the beautiful Niagara Falls, taking in the magnificent sights and sounds. We enjoyed teachings on the Holy Spirit both from the Hebrew scriptures and Christian scriptures, this dynamic, personal and creative power of God, the Spirit of the Father and the Spirit of Jesus, this Person of immense Love, poured out to all who believe! Stay tuned for both fun and spiritually charged adventures tomorrow!

Please pray for a return of the 101 hostages taken by Hamas a year ago today and for an end to war. No matter how the news reports it, the Israeli army as a whole goes to greater length than any in history to mitigate civilian casualties, often risking their own lives in the process. Right now, they are fighting fronts in Gaza, Lebanon, Judea and Samaria, Syria, Iraq, Yamen and Iran. Not a war they wanted or started.
