After 4.5 hours by bus our group arrived to Angangueo where we hopped on the backseat of a pickup truck, then switched to horseback up high elevation and finally hiking up to the butterfly sanctuary. It was worth it and I can’t check this UNESCO World Heritage Site off my bucket list!

I spotted this Northern Harrier along the hiking trail this New Year’s weekend. It was feeding on some type of lizard and I witnessed my NatGeo moment!

I spent my last weekend visiting the famous Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. A friend recommended seeing it via these self guided tour cars and it was great.

Well it’s that time again. I’m off on my next adventure overseas. I flew out of LAX last night for a layover in Miami. Next destination is the White Continent: Antarctica. Let the vacation begin!
