🇺🇸While walking down Main Street U.S.A. at either Disneyland Park or Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World have you ever stopped and looked up? If so, I’m sure you noticed the names on all of the windows. Did you know that those are the names of actual people that contributed to the Disney parks in some way. What a cool

Our fourth day took us to Epcot where we were able to enjoy one of the last days of the Flower and Garden festival. It’s such a beautiful time to visit this park. The graduate got to experience Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind for the first time and absolutely loved it!

Day 3 of our graduation trip took us to Disney Springs for some shopping and then back to The Beach Club Resort for some pool time.
We ended the day with Snow White at Story Book Dining at Artist Point.

As we reflect and remember the servicewomen and men who sacrificed for our freedom, I wanted to share details of the flag retreat ceremony that occurs daily in the town squares of both Walt Disney World and Disneyland as a thank you and tribute to veterans.
It typically takes place at 5pm, but you’ll want to check the day you’re there as it is subject to change.
The pledge is said and trumpets sound Retreat before the flag is lowered to the “Star Spangled Banner.” Members of the Color Guard remove the flag and fold it, then present it to a Guest veteran. A short procession down Main Street follows with the band playing a medley of military songs.
The veteran participating is selected at random each day, and many families understandably wish to be a part of this special and moving tribute. It is not something that can be signed up for, but Guests can increase their chances of being selected by being in the town square area around 10-11AM, the time the selection is typically made, and wearing some sort of veterans hat/shirt/jacket in order to be easily identifiable.

Day two took us back to Old Hollywood at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! The yummy food at 50’s Prime Time Cafe was a highlight!

Day one of our graduation trip adventures took us to the Magic Kingdom! We rode all of our favorite rides and had lunch at The Crystal Palace with Winnie the Pooh and Friends. ❤️
