Olu Deniz is a 5 - 10 minute bus/taxi ride. Here is the blue lagoon with its turquoise seas and small private bays and a number of free sandy beaches. There is a small charge for using the famous Olu Deniz beach, it is a protected site. Plenty of amenities and various sporting activities including diving, micro lighting and one of Europe's largest paragliding centres. Flat promenade with various shops, restaurants. The main high streets of Hisaronu are a 2 minute walk from the apartment. It has plenty of shops, bars restaurants, supermarkets and banking facilities. Most of the establishments stay open until the early hours including the supermarkets, yet the complex is very tranquil. The people are very friendly and the town is very family orientated. The local market is held on mondays. The nearest town with a pretty harbour is Fethiye. It has all you would expect from a town, 15 minutes by car or 20 minutes by bus. Huge Tuesday market. Dalaman airport is approximately an hours drive by taxi. Local shuttle buses are available but will take a little longer. The distance is relatively short but at times it is quite mountainous.
