Revolution Expedition A young mans drive to provide outreach to those affected by cancer. Please visit our website - http So please stay tuned and follow along on our expedition.

Our page will be highlights carried over from our webpage - http://revolutionexpedition.com/. We are still looking for partners for our trip, please inquire at - [email protected]. We will be posting about our expedition to raise money for cancer research through personal interactions from Colorado Springs, Colorado to Prudhoe Bay, Alaska...and back. This has neither been eas

y, nor fun, but its necessary (at least in the eyes of Terry Baker). We hope you get as much out of it as we do! Drive On!

Heading to the Overland Expo West this year? If so, please consider taking the road less traveled and go with New Mexico Backroads and their Ghost Divide Expedition. It truly is an experience you won't soon forget!

GDE2016 - The Ghost Divide Expedition [Original] will lead to the 2016 Overland Expo 2016 WEST; the Ghost Divide Expedition II will lead from the 2016 Overland Expo WEST. Both Ghost Divide Expeditions will follow the same route and cover three unique areas—Gila National Forest, White Mountains, and Mogollon Rim. Over two-thirds of the Ghost Divide Expeditions route will be comprised of unpaved roads. The Ghost Divide Expeditions will provide a demanding [yet rewarding] experience—the days will be long, the roads will be unforgiving, and the pace will be brisk. The Ghost Divide Expeditions will require participants to be self-supportive with regards to vehicle, equipment, meals and supplies. All nights will include camping and enjoying the company of fellow overlanders, deep in the backcountry.

2016 will mark the 5th year New Mexico Backroads has guided the Ghost Divide Expeditions in connection with the Overland Expo WEST; this year’s route will be the longest, roughest and best yet. The 500-mile Ghost Divide Expeditions will include a diverse range of scenery and terrain including desert, grassland, chaparral, forest, rivers, canyons, creeks, lakes, and wildland burn scars. Road types and conditions will include canyon bottom narrows, washboards, rutted two tracks, primitive non-maintained, graded, mountain shelf, and [least of all] paved highway. The Ghost Divide Expeditions will feature outstanding vistas, dozens of water crossings, historic landmarks, wildlife viewing opportunities [including Mexican grey wolf territory], and aggressive elevation contours [between 4,000 and 9,000 feet]. For those that join in, the only guarantee is that they will conclude their adventure with new friends, dirty rigs, big smiles, and stories that will make their fellow overlanders envious.

If you are interested in joining one of the 2016 Ghost Divide Expeditions [Original or II], please email [email protected] for full details, pricing and registration information.

Its nearly that time of year again...

We finally were able to get outside, unfurl the awning to check its condition after a long winter. Now...we gotta find some good spots here on the East Coast of the US to do some exploration! Any and all suggestions are welcomed!

At my new job here on the (L)East coast I am known as the "Jeep Guy"...which is fine, I love talking about my Jeep, others Jeeps and any other overland vehicle and activity.

Today I was approached by a coworker about lighting...the first thing I asked him was...have you seen the Rigid Industries - LED Lighting torture test? Needless to say, he hadn't...and that video is exactly why we trust Rigid/Truck-Lite for our lighting needs.

If you haven't seen the video...please check it out here:

Sunrise Reflections - Shenandoah Valley, Virginia - Summer 2015

Skyline Drive is not exactly the dusty backroads of New Mexico as far as challenges are concerned...but it is just as beautiful in its own right. So we closed out the final weekend of the Summer here in North America with a trip down through the Shenandoah Valley via Skyline Drive and took in the sights. Again, not techinical at all, but sometimes, its not about how technical you can get or how far off the beaten path you go - it is just that you go...do...expand your own personal horizons. If you haven't been to the Shenandoah Valley...do so, you will not be disappointed.

When I bought my Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon brand new in 2011 I never imagined it would be where it is today. I mean, everyone wants to build their Jeep and do "things" to it, but I never imagined it would transform into the well-built, incredibly capable machine it is today. So with that being said, I want to take some time and do a comprehensive review of the vehicle, mainly because there are items I haven't written reviews for but would like to talk about and there are things I want to touch on again. So as many of you know Revolution Expedition is very important to me, but I have to admit, I have been rather derelict in keeping up with it all. There are a few reasons...one reason being I have started a new job on the other side of the country, another reason is my fathers birthday was recently and it has been difficult to focus on anything...another reason is I have really took the time to work on another of my passions - photography. I have set up a page dedicated just to my photographic work from the various places I go and explore. If you wish to check it out and see where I have gone and what not, please check out the TB2 Photography page. I am sorry to the followers and fans of RevoEx that updates havent been as frequent, posts are sporadic...but please understand I am trying to blend the two but yet keep them separate. I welcome any suggestions and/or comments should you have them. Thanks much and Drive On!

Through my lens - joy!

From the dirt and dust of the South West to the rocky peaks of Colorado allllll the way to the Atlantic Ocean at Assateague Island National Seashore in Maryland all American Expedition Vehicles accessories have performed flawlessly. The Nitto Tire Trail Grapplers are yet to disappoint and the TeraFlex Suspensions axle housing and rock guards are amazing. If it werent for the great folks at Predator 4 Wheel Drive, LLC dialing it all in we wouldn't be so confident in the rig. Thanks everyone!

This shot is from Assateague National Seashore out here in Maryland. What a wonderful escape from the busy VA/MD/DC climate. Luckily we didn't need the Rigid Industries - LED Lighting or Truck-Lite Company, Inc. lights this trip...but soon...very very soon!

After the drivers meeting concluded, we jumped out on the highway for a few miles only to take a long, country road to the West. With all of the vehicles in tow, we barreled down the country dirt road toward our first pull off where we aired our tires down. First and foremost, let's get the sappy stuff out of the way...our guide, the owner and operator of New Mexico Back Roads (NMBR) is an absolute professional in every sense of the word.
