For those of us who knew Phil. Celebrate his life at his happy place -- IWSC.

In addition to the visitation and service last weekend, there will be a celebration of life for Phil out at the IWSC chalet on Saturday, November 2nd. The celebration will begin at 2pm and is a potluck BYOB type gathering. Be sure to bring your stories as well!

It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of Phil’s passing. Phil was more than just a valued member of our organization; he was a passionate volunteer who dedicated countless hours so that outdoor enthusiasts from near and far could benefit from his perfectly groomed trails, a fire-warmed chalet, or a conversation filled with tales of times gone by-or, perhaps, the next project on the list.

His unwavering commitment, infectious dedication, and and passion for the IWSC touched the lives of many. Phil's contributions went far beyond his time with us—he inspired others to get involved and find the same love for the IWSC as he found so many years ago.

This is crazy! Wow!

Just looked at weather forecast. Rain tonight and early Sunday, then dry but wind is going to be picking up quite a bit. At 9 a.m. will be 15 mph sustained with gusts up to the high 20s, then gusts increasing to more than 30 mph after noon.

So.... we can still meet for coffee at 9 at LittleWolf Gallery! Then for those interested can drive to the galleries, if you wish.

It is a good thing we'll have high winds to make up for the lack of hills around here. 🤣

IWSC news...

🚨 UPCOMING TRAIL CLOSURE 🚨 The annual disabled hunt event that is hosted at IWSC will be October 5-13th. There will be active gun deer hunting during this time on sections of the Black Loop in the area circled. Be mindful and safe while out on other sections of trail during this time.
