One thing I hate the most is never having the opportunity to travel with Jaylan the way my parents did with me. We always talked about going to Vegas, Jamaica, Bahamas, and Singapore. We take so many thing for granted believing that we have time. No day is guaranteed in this life and we can never get that time back. I've been working 7 days a week for the past 3 months to keep myself from major depression. I found myself falling back into the lifestyle he complained about before he was killed. Sacrificing everything for a job I'm loyal to that would replace me in a heartbeat. Our parents would never tell us (like many things) to take time for ourselves. How we needed a reboot from time to time. That we needed to take time to make memories with those we love.

I have been a travel agent for as long as I can remember. Always open and willing to help people. Many people would call and solicit my help but then take business to someone else. Mostly those I've been around or hung out with. It's shame that 90% of my business comes from those that I don't know. It's shame that people would rather support a nobody rather than someone they know. I've never complained and at times, I honestly didn't want the headache cause we can be difficult. However, I still love seeing people exposed to what I got to experience growing up. Travel!

There are a few of us that have chosen this as a profession. We are the same people you've spent a good portion of your life with. I am going to issue a challenge to you. We throw around "support each other" and "loyalty" like it always happens especially for those from the Skee. You know what made Tulsa so dangerous back in 1921? Their business model was about certain people getting rich, it was more about growing, supporting, and keeping the dollar circulating. We should be selling out hotels, cruises, and flights. So much so, that they change the game for us. Many of you book with vendors directly, or through sites, because you believe it saves you money. There are so many discounts you miss only offered to travel agents. Not to mention the time you spend you can't get back.
