It's A-Kon weekend! We're here, not exactly bright eyed and bushy tailed, and semi-ready to translocate pilots!

We have a tournament Saturday night as well this year! Sign ups start Saturday at 6 PM, and there are only spots for 15-18 pilots, so get there early! Check in for the tournament will be 1 AM, starting at 2 AM.

Also new, or rather official this year, the VGCorps Service Dog Rest Stop! We have water dishes, tennis balls, space out of the way for naps, and people willing to amuse them if they need some time off!

Alright, guys, we have a some more information about tonight's event! In addition to our exhibition games, there are going to be three tournaments:

1) Rally Scored Free-For-All - just like we've been running all weekend, but on a much larger scale! No heat, unlimited ammo - just come blow things up!

2) Pro-Am Team Event - teams of 2-3 being coached by some of our more experienced players; the game type is still TBA, but you'll love it!

3) Expert Event - 3v3 team event, game type TBA; anyone is welcome to sign up for our expert event, but it will be played in full advanced mode - heat, limited ammo, ammo jams, etc.

And sign-ups open NOW!!! Players can compete in as many events as they'd like; we'll collect entry fees before the events start. Entry fees will be determined by player turnout.

And don't forget, in addition to prizes in the tournaments, there will be raffles and door prizes you can win! More details about that VERY soon...

We have more information on our BIG NEWS!!!

We're definitely going to have three tournaments tonight - we're going to have an event just for our AFest players, we're going to have a Pro-Am event, and we're going to have an event just for our veteran pilots (and guys, you NEED to be here for this... we're waiting on Draco to confirm some stuff, but you won't want to miss this!).

We'll also have some exhibition games from our veterans showing off some of the high level play that is possible in the pods and some of the other game types.

We'll have more details on prize support later today (Draco's on his way to get everything together), but there will be door prizes, raffles, and most importantly - EVERYONE that walks through the door will get a free game for Monday!

That's right - EVERYONE! Whether they're playing in an event, or just coming to watch, at the very least they'll get a free game!

BIG NEWS!!! (Okay, it's not a new location - let's just get that out of the way now.)

If you've ever met Draco, you know he has a tendency to have last minute ideas - hence only 24-hours notice.

24-hours notice for what, you may ask?

POD EVENT!!! 2:00am at AnimeFest in the Sheraton Convention Center, 3rd Floor, Houston B

We don't have event specifics yet, but what we /can/ tell you is that everyone who comes out will get something! There will be raffles, random door prizes, and some great events for everyone - veteran players, experienced convention players, first timers, and even some pro-am stuff. We will be breaking out some prizes and swag that have not been handed out in years - and some that are even rare among those who are heavily involved in pods!

We will update more throughout tomorrow with details as we get everything planned out. So stay tuned!!!

Whenever we need to start off a leaderboard, we take that chance to remember our fallen pilots. Not to bring the convention mood down, but for those who may not have heard, we recently lost Vincent - aka Test 9 - one of the former Gunslinger Games owners. We wanted to hold off on speaking about it via our page so as many people could be informed individually as possible. That being said, our hearts are with his family.

Hey everyone! We know this page has been really quiet - we've all been busy with our non-pod lives while we've been in storage, and this page kind of fell to the wayside.

However - IT'S CONVENTION SEASON!!!

As always, we'll be at A-Kon this weekend in the Imperial Ballroom, so be sure to come by and get some drops in!

The truck's just about loaded, so I guess AFest 2014 is officially over. We've loved getting to share the pods with everyone this convention season - and it looks like the season might not be over for us just yet! ;)

A small update for everyone!

While we have not been very vocal about all that has been going on it has been busy here. So far this year we have had a great time at Project: A-Kon and Tokyo in Tulsa next up is AnimeFest in just a few weeks. We are currently working on expanding our convention showings for the rest of this year as well as into next year. If you have any conventions you would like to see us at let us know and we can see what we can do!

We are still in holding on looking at a new storefront location. While it is our desire to be back in a readily accessible location for people to play year around it is still a logistical hurdle for us to be able to do. Rest assured we are working on things to make it happen, however we currently do not have an ETA on that.

Expect some updates from us during Animefest 2014!
