Do you love Friends, Gilmore Girls, Harry Potter, DC Universe or any other Warner Brothers shows and movies? If so, this one is for you!
I only did this tour because it was part of the GoCity card, but I’m so glad I found it! It’s now one of my highly recommended experiences in LA!
When you arrive at the Studios, you’ll have some time to grab a Starbucks coffee (very needed after my Hollywood sign hike) and have a look through some of the collections.
You’ll then be taken on an amazing tour of the backlots on a cool little golf cart! Your guide will ask about your favourite Warner Brothers shows and movies and will customise the tour for your group. I was lucky to be with other Friends & Gilmore Girls fans and we saw so many filming locations from these shows.
There are opportunities to get off the cart and have a better look around in some locations. It is a working studio, so be aware that you might miss out on some locations as they are being used for filming. I just see this as a good reason to go back!
After the buggy tour, you’ll walk through some more set areas, visit Central Perk & have an opportunity to spend money in the Friends gift shop. Once you are done here, you’ll hop on a buggy to go back to the main gift shop and a few more sets and experiences with great photo opportunities!
A few things you need to know:
▶️ Book early to avoid disappointment. They do sell out of places on these tours.
▶️ Prices start at US$70 for adults. There are private tours and specialised tours available.
▶️ Consider using the GoCity card if there are other attractions you are interested in. It saves me about AU$150 in three days in LA. Remember, you still need to book in advance.
▶️ Tours will be different every time, depending on the interests of the group & the availability of sets.

I moved to the Gold Coast just over two years ago. I’d spent two years on the road, travelling around Australia & I knew it was time for a change. I would not be returning to south west WA.
It was tough to choose a new place to live, but my two main goals were to find somewhere warmer and busier. The Gold Coast seemed like it would be a good fit. It has been a great move and I love flying back in to this view after my trips!
