Calling all the ! (well, really next door to their location at is a delicious, “sparkly” pride cupcake! This vegan treat was one of my favorites, and that icing was to DIE for! 50% of all proceeds also are donated to the , an organization founded by to help fight injustice facing homeless and LGBTQ youth. Once again, not only are you getting a delicious treat, you’re helping people as well, so it’s a win win!

A in that’s classy? Sign me up! As much as makes New Yorkers cringe, there are some pretty fabulous hidden gems surrounding it. Take the Polynesian for example. Tucked away in the Aliz Hotel Times Square, this beautifully decorated and carefully curated cocktail bar is a winner. With a rooftop for the summer months, and plush booths and cozy corners for the winter, this spot does a great job at making you feel as if you’ve been transported to the tropics. Their drink list is on point, with some WELL crafted cocktails and unique glassware. Be forewarned. They’re strong. However, since when is that a complaint while drinking? :) ignore this nasty weather we’re having and come spend some time in the tropics!

Finally decided to make a stop at and boy am I glad I did. You should RUN, not walk, to their location and HOPE they still have some peanut butter snack cakes left. This tasty little morsel was a standout, a delicious mix of smooth peanut butter and a soft chocolate cake that reminds me of childhood. Ill be back, , and with friends.

I must say, the new 28th St. Station is looking quite gorgeous and ready for spring! (Although today’s weather FELT a little “springy!”) Subway art and Street art are quite the thing in NYC, so be on the lookout for a blog post on some of our favorite spots to capture some great shots!
