Perfect opportunity to explore Zagare this weekend and take part in a workshop of some of our wonderful craftspeople

Atvirų dienų kaime 2021 metu, kviečiame visus į mūsų dirbtuvėles! 🤗

🟠 Rugsėjo 3-4 dienomis vyks Venecijos stiklo demostravimas. Edukacijos metu dalyviai stebės kaip yra lydomas stiklas karoliukų gamybai, kaip tarpusavyje jungiasi skirtingų spalvų stiklas ir kaip išgaunamos įvairios formos ir dekoracijos. Bus galima patiems pabandyti pasidaryti keletą karoliukų.

🟠 Rugsėjo 5 dieną kviečiame susipažinti su žalvario, vario ir kitų metalų apdirbimo technika, komponavimo būdais, dekoravimo elementais, kalinėjimo, metalo vielos lankstymo ir pynimo metodais. Taip pat stebėsime kaip meistras lydo metalą ir iš jo išgauna vielą ar lakštą, nuo ko ir prasideda kiekvieno juvelyro darbas. Pasimokysime žalvario vielos pynimo ir lankstymo technikos ir pasigaminsime kartu su meistru po žiedą ar pakabuką.

You can visit the beautiful workshop and gardens in Raktuves g.26, from 10am- 6pm, where there will be jewellery for sale, workshops, and a wonderful cosy atmosphere at Craftsmenontheroad

Explore Zagare; Our story

We are a British - Lithuanian couple, who call Zagare our home.

We’ve always loved hosting friends and family, and introducing them to the history, creativity and beautiful surroundings of Zagare, and now that our 3 little people are becoming more independent by the day, we’d like to invite more people to explore and experience Zagare our way. Saulius is a qualified Guide, who having grown up in Zagare, is the ideal person to give you a tour. He’s fluent in English, passionate about nature, and makes great soup!

Sarah first discovered Zagare on a volunteer placement in 2004, her first glimpse enough to reel her in. She loves people and organising, and cherry jam on brie : ) Whatever your reason for a visit, we’d love to help you tailor the best trip for you...
