Who all does holiday baking? I'm not at the beach house this year...but I have done some of my holiday baking there in the past. The big reason our kitchen is so well stocked is because I love to cook and bake even on vacation (yeah...I know I'm weird 🤣). I decided to make some mini desserts this year. Usually it is all cookies. But I love the granite island at the beach house for cookies. So much cooling room!

We have confirmation that our sectional has been manufactured and ready to ship! Waiting for a call back on the status of the chairs 🤞 Guess I need to buckle down and figure out the coffee table and end table situation pronto. 😬 In the meantime I found a better pic od the accent chair fabric and wood and my snapshot of the sectional fabic in store. I'm super excited.

Hmmm...so it is looking like a new coffee table will need to be procured with the new furniture. The local woodworker that made our bunk beds, picnic tables and fish cleaning table is now doing custom CNC work. I have started to consider a coffee table with our logo recessed into it that I could fill with epoxy/resin. Thoughts? This sign he has made is absolutely adorable.

If you haven't visited Lake Shelby at Gulf State Park....GO!!! We 100% admit we hadn't until yesterday when we were convinced by our BFF Lori Sparacio of Stop Or I'll Shoot Photography that it would be fantastic for our annual pics. We like to mix things up a bit...because even though the beach is fantastic...there is so much to see and do in the area! It was absolutely stunning in the "golden hour" before sunset.
