Cosy Nook is a chocolate box 500 year old character thatched cottage in the village of North Molton on the fringe of Exmoor National Park. Sleeps three people and one small dog is welcome. It consists of lounge with inglenook, dining table, sofa and tv, a well equipped kitchen, bedroom with king size bed, a single bedroom and a shower room. There is a pretty garden to the rear with seating. The cottage is old and quirky with low ceilings and window seats. It is not suitable for disabled people or children under the age of 12. The kitchen has a fridge freezer, washing machine, air fryer, cooker, microwave, kettle and toaster with plenty of crockery and cooking equipment.
The village has a pub called the Poltimore Inn which has great food and is dog friendly. Exmoor is in walking distance with dozens of walking routes and also from the cottage is a walk along the river Mole. South Molton has an assortment of shops, tea rooms and small Sainsbury. There is a market held on Tuesday and Saturdays.
There are many attractions, gardens such as Rosemoor are in easy distance as well as National Trust places such as Killerton, Knightshayes, Arlington Court, Lorna Doone valley, Bideford, Watersmeet and the Holnicote Estate on Exmoor with Dunster Castle. The beaches of Bude, Ilfracombe are about an hours drive. The North Devon coast is in easy reach which boasts some of the highest cliffs in England. The coast from Minehead to coombe Martin is some of the best coastal views too.
Cosy Nook is prefect for those who want to get away from the rat race and have a little bit of heaven.
