Did you know? At least 1,075 casualties of the 7,621 casualties at the Battle of Perryville were from Ohio. Forty-two year old Jesse Brinker, a private in Company B, 121st Ohio Volunteer Infantry, would be wounded in action. He would be discharged for his wounds in March 1863. He would live until 1895, and is buried in Marion County, Ohio.
