Creative Openings is a gathering and opportunity to explore creativity through group and individual expressive art projects. Your experience would be something like this:
Each gathering begins with a guided meditation, and an invitation to explore your creative side. The meditation helps to bring presence into the room and into the experience of creative exploration. The meditation is followed by
a conversation and activities that will help bring you into an easy place of exploration. In one gathering we made lists of our favorite childhood activities and created plans to recreate this experience. The second half of the gathering is an organized art project. Participants will be divided into groups with the option to explore the activity through visual expression, 3-D form such as clay, writing or body expression. My goal is to create an alternative experience to the standard social hang out, to explore ourselves creatively and in doing so grow and heal. Creativity brings joy and I want to share in this experience with you!
