Whew, you guys are ready to TRAVEL in 2025! 😅 I’m a little bit up to my eyeballs in new vacation requests (as well as staying on top of existing client planning), but it’s my favorite “problem” to have!

If you’re new here, hi! I’m Heather and I’m in my 8th year as a professional travel advisor. I plan magical and tropical vacations for my amazing guests (think Disney, Universal, all-inclusive resorts, and select cruise lines). Emily and her family squeezed in ALL the fun during their visit to Walt Disney World last week! She had only visited with Disney pros before, so I turned her into a professional herself this time, and hearing their park recaps made me feel like such a proud teacher! 😂✨

I love getting to know my guests, so I always get a little sad when your trips are over, but hopefully this just means we have more planning to do together for your next vacation. 💙 Thank you for trusting me with your family's memories, Emily!

I’m a broken record about how much I love this resort. And even though we arrived at the tail end of our Christmas break sicknesses and haven’t felt 100%, time together in the sun and salty air has been just what we needed. And let’s not forget smoothies and Grana Padano Spaghetti. 😍

Atelier Playa Mujeres will be my favorite forever.🌴

It's promo release day for Walt Disney World! 🎉 I spent this morning automatically applying discounts to all of my qualifying guests' reservations while they were still sleeping because vacation planning is THAT easy when you hire an expert. ✨

If I'm being honest, this year was my second hardest year in business (only beat out by 2020, ha). But I learned so much from it, and I'm really excited for the improvements I'm making in 2025 to make your travel experience even better. 😍

Free dining is back, y'all! 🥳 Start your New Year with a magical summer vacation countdown because this is an absolutely fantastic value for summer travel, especially if your family has kids ages 10+ (ask me how I know, haha).

Booking begins Thursday, January 2, and this offer is available for trips starting between May 27 - June 26 or July 7 - August 6, 2025 (as if I needed another reason to recommend summer dates!).

To qualify, stay at least 3 nights at a Disney Resort hotel with at least a 3-day Park Hopper for everyone on the reservation, and you'll get a free dining plan based on your resort category (most likely will be quick service dining plan for value/moderate resorts and standard plan for deluxe resorts, although you can pay the difference between quick service and standard for a better value).

On release day (Thursday!), I'll automatically check all of my currently booked guests to make sure their reservation is on the best promo, and I'll begin working on proposals for returning guests. 🚨 Spoiler Alert: Last year I saved my guests a cumulative total of over $14,000 with this offer!

Cortney (and her BFF!) and her girls visited Walt Disney World this month for an AMAZING trip with just the right balance of planning and flexibility. ✨🎄 We worked together to make sure they got to enjoy all four parks, including extra magic like breakfast inside Cinderella's Castle and closing down Magic Kingdom at midnight at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party!

These smiles say it ALL, and it is an absolute privilege to be trusted with priceless memories. I will never get over how lucky I am to work with such incredible guests! Until next time! 😉

It's time for family and puzzles and gingersnaps and Mexico, so I'm officially OUT OF OFFICE (at least for my regular hours and new bookings) until January 8, 2025. ✨

Sabrina and her adorable family visited Walt Disney World all the way from Germany! I absolutely loved planning with her (yay for Zoom calls!), and it was so much fun to run into her at Animal Kingdom when I was just in Orlando for a night! They had an epic split stay - half at Animal Kingdom Lodge, and half at Wilderness Lodge - plus Park Hoppers for flexibility and a night at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. WHEW!

But as an international guest traveling with two young children (ages 6 and 2), she has some amazing tips to share with you:

✨ Get that stroller, even for your bigger kids.
✨ Stay onsite with little kids!! That helped us go alone when [our daughter] was sick and also staying with her in the parks when [our son] needed a break. It was so easy from both resorts! The boat from WL to MK was of course amazing and you dont even have to fold the stroller on the bigger boat, but also the buses from AKL worked great and we never waited long.
✨ We loved the post-firework dessert party!! It saved us from the total madness on the non-party MK day.
✨ The Christmas parties at MK made it so easy at MK during the day, but the other parks were soo crazy on those days. And the non-party days at MK were extremely crowded.
✨ We loved the Christmas party, but our priority also wasn't characters and the parade. Those lines were long, but ride wait times and firework crowds were amazing.
✨ Go with little kids, [our two-year-old] did amazing and she was mostly free for everything!
✨ Do the Lightning Lanes with little kids, even when it is not very busy. 30 mins in line add up with them, and the Lightning Lane system even on non-crowded days allowed us to get on so many rides with them.
✨ (Sabrina also visited solo one day after their onsite stay and experienced transportation and Lightning Lanes without onsite perks.) If it is a busy time and you do not stay on property, you will not get any of the good rides, and there is also not much to rebook until very late in the day.

We're already scheming their next vacation - this time to somewhere tropical! I adore my clients and can't wait to plan with you again, Sabrina! 🌴

Magical + Tropical = Aulani, A Disney Resort and Spa

It's the perfect blend of Disney magic and Hawaiian culture, plus it's on the island of Oahu with so many opportunities to explore. (My can't-wait-to-sees are Kualoa Ranch [Jurassic Park!], Pearl Harbor, a luau, and waterfalls!)

This is on my Someday list (when I'm not beholden to my kids' sports travel schedules, ha!), but I'm thankful to be able to collaborate with my trusted TA network to put together fantastic resources for my guests in the meantime! 🌴

I loved the Disney Wish so much, that I've already booked one of its sister ships, the Disney Destiny, for my family. We won't sail until 2026 (no, that's not a typo), but we're so excited to be counting down to our next Disney Cruise!

I booked early because it gives us more time to budget (no lie, Disney Cruise Line ain't cheap).

I booked the Destiny because I loved the Wish so much, and this ship includes many of the same features, like: 1923 and Worlds of Marvel restaurants, Marceline Market buffet, Mickey & Friends Festival of Foods (pool deck dining), the AquaMouse, Seas the Day show, Hero Zone (inflatable obstacle course).

But it also includes new stuff that we're equally excited about, like: Lion King dining room, amazing adult lounges (De Vil's! Haunted Mansion! Pirates!), a Hercules show, and a stop at Lighthouse Point (in addition to Castaway Cay).

The Destiny sets sail in late 2025, and we can currently start your countdown for any ship's sailings through May 2026. Let's plan together so I can help match you to the right ship and itinerary for your family! 🛳️

The S family had an amazing Disney adventure last month to celebrate one of their boys' birthdays! We snagged an awesome promo that gave them free Park Hoppers, so they were able to avoid Magic Kingdom crowds (party seasons - IYKYK!) and choose their favorite parks to repeat on their last day.

Jessica and I were brand new teachers together when we were just babies fresh out of college (I won't tell you how many years ago that was, ha!), so I absolutely loved reconnecting to plan such a magical vacation with her sweet family. ✨ Thank you again for trusting me with your memories!

My excitement level when The Cake Bake Shop was announced (forever ago) hovered somewhere around 0%. But then I dropped in to join a friend for Key Lime Pie and an Old Fashioned, and it's safe to say I'm officially a fan.

This absolutely gorgeous restaurant is located on the Boardwalk at Walt Disney World (right outside of EPCOT's International Gateway), and you can dine at the restaurant for breakfast, lunch, or dinner (reservations recommended), or just stop by the bakery for one-of-a-kind treats.

Fair warning - you're going to pay a pretty penny for this experience, but it may be as worth it to you as it was to me.

I can't wait to go back. 🎠
