Camp Gan Israel of Ukraine - A.K.A Yeka - is a gateway of hope disguised as an ordinary summer overnight camp. But at Yeka we give our campers more than camp.

We are proud to say that Yeka is more than just a camp - as a matter of fact, the basic program of sports, trips and meals is just the beginning. In Ukraine young jewish boys dont have the blessings we have of living free of poverty, hunger, deprivation, and anti-semitism. We give them 3 weeks of Jewish Identity-building, education, and morale-boosting, that helps them throughout the year. With ou

r energetic and dedicated staff, we give these kids hope. The children now look forward each school year to the fun and warmth that Yeka brings. Every year - for three weeks of the summer - the energy and spirit of camp are electrifying. Looking at a child while camp is in session, one could never imagine the misfortune, deprivation and even abuse that were this child's unfortunate reality just days earlier. And thanks to camp, neither can the child. Despair and dejection are replaced with hopes and dreams. We invite you to take part in shaping these children's dreams. To help CGI of Ukraine continue to succeed on it's remarkable mission. As a camp, Yeka excels. But Yeka is much more than just a camp. Yeka is all about giving these boys a chance. A chance to live.
