Canopic Shrine of Tutankhamun

Inside this imposing and elaborate gilded shrine was the alabaster chest that contained the four canopic miniature coffins.
At each side of this shrine stands an elegant statue of one of the four female divinities in charge of protecting the deceased king, their faces turned slightly to one side and their arms stretched out in a gesture of protection. These goddesses are Isis, Nephthys, Neith, and Serket.
The outer canopy of gilded wood, fixed to a sledge, consists of four-square corner posts supporting a projecting cavetto cornice topped by a frieze of uraei, or rearing cobras, with solar disks. A cavetto cornice is a concave molding with a cross section that approximates a quarter circle. Scenes of the protective deities are incised in relief on the sides of the shrine.

Portable shrine of Anubis
This carrying chest is surmounted by the Anubis, protector of the gates to the Underworld, seated atop a gilded chest. The details of the animal are gilded except for the claws, which are made of silver. The eyes are made of alabaster and obsidian. The chest is in the form of a shrine, decorated with friezes of the Djed and Tyet signs, which are symbols of stability and protection.

The Golden Throne of King Tutankhamen, discovered in the Tomb of the King, by Howard Carter in November, 1922. made primarily of wood, not gold, though it is beautifully overlaid in sheet gold and silver, further adorned with semi-precious stones, glaze, and colored glass. The Throne follows the Amarna artistic tradition developed under Akhenaten, the Pharaoh that attempted to sway the nation to the worship of one god, the sun disc Aten. one of its most prominent features is the placement of Aten top and center of the seat, with its life-giving, sustaining rays extending as arms and hands down towards Tutankhamen and his queen Ankhesenamun.

Dendera Temple complex
It is located about 2.5 kilometres (1.6 mi) south-east of Dendera, Egypt. It is one of the best-preserved temple complexes in Egypt. The area was used as the sixth Nome of Upper Egypt, south of Abydos.
The whole complex covers some 40,000 square meters and is surrounded by a hefty mudbrick enclosed wall. Dendera was inhabited in prehistory, a useful oasis on the banks of the Nile. It seems that pharaoh Pepi I (ca. 2250 BC) built on this site and evidence exists of a temple in the Eighteenth Dynasty (ca 1500 BC). The earliest extant building in the compound today is the Mammisi raised by Nectanebo II – last of the native pharaohs (360–343 BC). The features in the complex include:
The dominant building in the complex is the Temple of Hathor. The temple has been modified on the same site starting as far back as the Middle Kingdom, and continuing right up until the time of the Roman emperor Trajan. The existing structure began construction in the late Ptolemaic period, and the hypostyle hall was built in the Roman period under Tiberius.
