We were on top of the world yesterday with our Snowshoe Further group. This is where we have more time to go on a longer walk and we take our lunch with us too. A gorgeous blue sky but chilly day (-8C in the car park!), lots of energy and laughter and brilliantly Richard from Adventure Stories came along too and took some fabulous photos. Just an incredibly beautiful day up the mountain with our snowshoes yesterday, I love this weather so much. Despite it being -7C it was so warm in the sun and we had to don the suncream and delayer!

As someone said, 'This is just like being in instagram' but guess what, this is real, there are no filters, just happy faces and, of course, homemade sticky ginger cake from the lovely Sarah and the best view in the world to eat it 🥰

Absolute stunner of a day, but even at -10C it was chilly but not super cold. The cold gave us a sun dog halo around the sun, diamond dust, both caused by ice crystals in the air, clear views to Mount Blanc and a superb cloud inversion which rolled over us making everything seem very ethereal.

Thanks so much to Maggie, Andy, Chris and Matt for joining me and Gaia on our Intro / Slow Snowshoe walk this morning. It was lovely to share the views and chat 💙❄️🙏

Jason managed to pull out the ❄️'untouched fresh snow' ❄️ card today. Absolutely fantastic (but chilly!) conditions 💫. Danny Dog came along and loved it too🐾. I think we have new people converted to the happiness of snowshoeing 🎉

Sometimes the sun sets and you don't get to see it but instead you pop your headtorch on and have a wonderful walk through the forest while the snow starts to fall 😍💙❄️.

Some great moments from our most recent Tour du Mont Blanc for Alpenwild . It's always great when we get to guide together.

Have you ever been on the Skyway up to Helbronner? You depart from Courmayeur in Italy and take the gondola to 3469m for a great view of the glacier, Mont Blanc / Monte Bianco and the surrounding mountains. We then descended to the half way point to take time in the Alpine Garden. It's a privilege to be able to do this several times.each summer with our clients from @alpenwild whilst having a rest day on the Tour du Mont Blanc

It's really important to take time out for you and to enjoy what nature does every day. In our case we did a 2.5 hour hike, pitched our small tent in a tiny spot and watched sunset and the perseids meteor shower ✨️from this secluded spot. We then had the bonus of a gorgeous sunrise and coffee in our own home 💗⛰️💪🌟 #wildcamp #Frenchalps #loveyourself #sunset #sunrise #stjeandaulps #hiking #lovehiking

We bought a Ruffwear backpack for Gaia as Jason and his daughter are doing a multi day hiking and camping trip soon. I thought I would try and get her used to it and start adding small amounts of weight to the bags. This is how we got on!

Jason is currently out guiding a #tourdumontblanc for @adventurebase He loves adding song lyrics in to his chats , can you spot this one 🎵😁

And finally APRIL fresh snow but we also managed to get some beautiful sunny spring walks in plus do a full clean and repair to our ❄️ equipment. We hope you enjoyed following us this winter and to those that joined one of our walks, THANK YOU 🥰
