We've always wanted our journey to benefit the creole communities who inspired it. And so we decided after the beautiful experience that was La Creole restaurant to go in a new direction aimed at giving back.

We chose an underserved community in Haiti and purchased land to start a farm. Work officially began in February of this year. And it's been a difficult but rewarding experience. Getting machinery to the area for example was a challenge that we managed to overcome. Dealing with a period of drought required quick thinking.

We thank our friends over at Haiti Arise for their help and counsel. We thank our agronomists. And the entire new team at Kreyoliving. From now on, this page will be used to bring you news about our sustainable farming project + our cultural journey and experiences in the creole communities we visit and work in + feature the occasional products that may be born out of those interactions. We remain passionate about creole food and culture.

Our Story

Creole culture is rich and varied. Spread over three continents (Europe, America and Africa), it is perhaps the truest form of miscegenation. Best known in the West Indies, it is however widespread. We celebrate its many delights: food, music, dance, people, etc..
