Baní es la capital y cabecera de la provincia Peravia en República Dominicana. Limita al norte con San José de Ocoa, que había sido uno de los municipios de la provincia Peravia hasta el 2001; al sur con el Mar Caribe, donde se localizan las Salinas y las Dunas de Baní; al este con San Cristóbal y al oeste con Azua. Baní se ubica en la subregión de Valdesia en las coordenadas 18°17′24″N 70°19′48″O, a 65 Km al sur de Santo Domingo en el valle de Peravia. La ciudad de Baní ocupa el lugar no.17 en población del país (según Censo 2002),con 107,926 habitantes. La agropecuaria es la principal actividad de la provincia, produciéndose hortalizas, frutales, café, y se está desarrollando la industria agroindustrial. Baní es sede de la Dirección General Surcentral de la Policia Nacional.

Would you like to play for one of the most competitive 14u /16U Travel teams in the Tampa Bay Area? The Tampa CruZers are hosting tryouts for the Spring Season at Town N Country Field on January 31, 2015 at 11AM. We have won too many tournaments to list. Last season we were 42-6 Led by former Major leaguer Crucito Lara (St. Louis Cardinals & Chicago Cubs) Jose Rodriguez and Woody Luke. We will teach baseball at the next level for your son and prepare him for HS & College! We will practice twice a week and play at least 3 tournaments a month. We usually plan BBQ and family outings as well as we are a tight group who believes in Family first! You can call me to reserve your spot for tryouts at 813-545-6363! Cya at the ball park!
