Our reason for summiting Mera Peak

Praise God, we summited Mera peak on the 17th of October at 6:40. All praise to God for strengthening and protecting us, as it was extremely strenuous. The most difficult challenge we have done.

Our tent at the edge of a cliff! You don’t get up at night for any reason.

High camp yesterday at 5800m, with our tent on the edge of a ravine. The outside temperature was below-15’C. The sherpas spoil you with sherpa stew and soup inside your tent. Amazing views from high camp.

The weather has changed to very windy on our hike. We have decided to postpone our trek to the high camp to the 16th and rather take a direct route. The day thereafter we will summit Mera peak.

Teahouse in Kothe where we stayed. The best teahouse, we thoroughly enjoyed the luxury of lights, mirror, hot bucket shower and fire place.
