Last year 2023 was "one" of the toughest. Though turning 50 is a blessing, I was sad, hot, up, down, sweaty, angry, miserable...you name it, that was me. There were so many changes physically, mentally, financially, emotionally, and spiritually. Dealing with the loss of my only parent, my favorite aunt, yet another failed relationship, empty nesting...you name it. I was constantly moving and shaking.

Though my social media presense looked like I was living my best travel life, I was hurting inside like never before. My best moments were getting phone calls from my son saying, "Mom, I did it again!" Whatever "IT" was, always made my days better.

At the end of the year I decided I had to make a change. I had enough of the tears. Realizing most of it stemmed from "Change of Life", I prayed that God would set me free from myself. That he did, and did it so gracefully.

Though you Erika Etienne and Chaunda Brooks may not know why. I love you and I thank you for answering God's call in my life.

Thank you always to my one and only Tyrik Grant for loving me regardless of me.

Special thanks to my MUA Nicole Terrell for always making me feel beautiful, even when I feel ugly. Love you girly!

And a special thanks to my Photographer who is clearly more than a photographer Lynn McIntosh She's simply amazing ;)
