Sauze d'Oulx comes in the top five most affordable ski resorts for adult skiers in the new 2024 Post Office Travel Money report.

For the first time, Sauze beats Bansko, Bulgaria, which has seen an 18.1% year-on-year rise.

While Zermatt will cost €1,334.76, Meribel €958.82 and St Anton €1,037.35, Sauze will cost only €639.08.

UPDATE OPENING OF LIFTS
December 21, 2023

The opening forecast for the next few days is as follows.

Starting from Saturday 23 December, the areas of Sestriere, Sauze d’Oulx and Sansicario will be connected through the Rio Nero Valley. In addition to the systems currently open, the Colò, Chamonier and Lago Nero chairlifts will be added to the Sauze d’Oulx area. In Sansicario you will ski in the Ski Lodge, Roccia Rotonda and Fraiteve areas. In the Claviere ski area, the slopes of the Colletto Verde and Col Boeuf sector will be added to the lifts currently open and the connection with Montgenèvre will open.

The Cesana Ski Lodge gondola lift and the Clotes and Jouvenceaux Sportinia chair lifts will also open on Monday 25 December.
