I have experience in marine construction, master of flat top and crane barges working in wind farm installation and a wide variety of other offshore and onshore projects.
Past projects include wind farm installation, cable laying and repair, construction of LNG jetties, breakwaters and berths, subsea installation, wreck removal, geotechnical investigation, drilling, piling, etc.
Personnel management, liaising and negotiating with clients, job planning and progress reporting are on my daily to-do lists.
Rigging for heavy lifts and slinging heavy loads during mobilization and de-mobilization. Engineering; repairs and maintenance of all deck machinery including winches and Hydraulic Power Units. Conducting toolbox talks, risk assessments, all emergency drills, permit to work systems.
Developing and optimizing installation methodology, work planning, crew training, reporting, teambuilding for working closely to meet deadlines and targets in a safe and productive manner.
