lbo prepare tour directions in the time leading up to your tour, often the week before you set out. Instead of tour directions, set out with tour intelligence, a complete briefing. A good tour is a journey of self-discovery too. A sign appears on the side of the road and it is far too fascinating to be left for later. A fork appears before you on the road and one takes the most fascinating one. How do you get back to where you started? Wilbo will guide you back to the point of departure, only if you want to return. All tours begin with an itinerary. Only a tour with Wilbo completes with a story of the day, suitable for publication. Where did the tour go? What was discovered? Who was did you meet? What conversations took place? The tour that is unexamined in hardly worth taking. Begin by calling Wilbo. Give him a destination. He'll not pretend to be an expert on a destination. He'll know how to approach anywhere from Paris to Rome with a knowledge of how to look for the new, the current and the fresh. What is below the radar shows up in Wilbo's view almost every time. Our first conversation is free. Half day itineraries are 120 dollars. Day long itineraries are 240 dollars. A deposit equal to a half-day fee begins work on your itinerary. Any number of people may share the adventure, but the advice is to keep the number small. Just your best traveling companions or not. Kamala Harris visited Detroit for a series of events tied to early voting. She recorded a radio interview with Charlamagne tha God at the iHeartMedia studio in Eastern Market, where notable Detroit figures like Zeek Williams, Eric Thomas, Icewear Vezzo, and Pastor Solomon Kinloch Jr. participated. She also attended a watch party at Cred Cafe on the lower eastside.

During her visit, Harris was gifted a “Detroit Vs. Everybody” shirt by Tommey Walker, the brand's founder. She connected with the crowd by recalling her ties to the city, including a shout-out to Cass Technical High School. Harris also visited the Norwest Gallery of Art in Grandmont Rosedale, where she signed a book by Detroit City Photographer Cyrus Tetteh.

In parallel, Donald Trump is planning to hold a rally at Huntington Place on Friday.

I'm fairly sure that KH stayed at the The Westin Book Cadillac Detroit judging by the security ....

Male Bao Li (pronounced "BOW-lee") and female Qing Bao (pronounced "ching-BOW") are the latest bears to be temporarily sent to the US capital under a 52-year-old conservation partnership with China.

A mural at 8000 Fullerton Ave. along the Joe Louis Greenway in Detroit was painted by artist Carson DeYoung. This is one of six murals along the under-construction 27.5-mile walking and biking path. The murals were created between I-96 and Warren Gateway Park near Dearborn, funded by a $90,000 Michigan Economic Development Corp. beautification grant. Additional murals are planned for the north side of the greenway.

🛶 **Captured in Cedar Lake, Canada**, beneath a floating canopy of lily pads, Shane photographed a **swarm of western toad tadpoles** gliding gracefully through the water. His ability to maneuver carefully through delicate silt and algae ensured a crystal-clear view of the tadpoles.

✨ **Shane's Passion**: "The most fun I can have is to see something new and try to photograph it in the best way I can," he told BBC News. Despite not knowing how his shots turned out until he got home, he was thrilled: “When I finally looked, I was like, wow, this is pretty cool.”

**🛡️ PROTECT MAPLE SYRUPING IN MICHIGAN 🍁**

**The Threat:**
🔍 The Asian long-horned beetle (aka starry sky beetle) is small but **super destructive**.

**Big Picture:**
🌳 Michigan's **billion maple trees** are vital for timber, ecology, and **maple syrup** production.
🌲 This beetle loves **maples** and can **kill trees** by boring into their trunks.

**What to Do:**
👀 **Look for signs** this fall:
- Pencil-sized **round holes** in trunks or branches
- **Dead branches** on healthy trees
- **Wood shaving piles** at the base
- Shallow, round **scars** in the bark

**Why It Matters:**
🚨 If detected, the USDA and state will need to **remove and destroy** infected trees to protect the whole population.
🌟 Found in NYC and Ohio, but not yet in Michigan — **let's keep it that way**!

**Expert Advice:**
🗣️ "If it's here, we need to **catch it early**," says Deborah McCullough, MSU forest entomologist.
