The Dotty Llama, owned by Emily Sowers, can be found at 288 Llama Lane, Needmore, PA. Dotty was the last llama on Llama Lane. She was born in 1996 on the family farm and watched over the sheep and goats until her passing in 2018. She was a great protector and friend to her charges, often letting the young lambs and kids crawl on her back. Whenever she was separated from them, she would hum and pace until re-united. Now she will always be watching her flock. The barn, built in 1988, replaced an earlier bank barn. Sideling Hill lays to the west and some of the headwaters of the Tonoloway Creek start on the farm.

❤️❤️ Oklahoma Cooperative Extension Service (OCES) Educators Lynda Latta from Ellis County, Rhonda DeVor from Woodward County, Jean Bailey from Dewey and Harper Counties, and Retired District Program Specialist Recia Garcia have been working for the past few years to spark the love of barn quilts to area communities.
