I went to a FABULOUS concert today! The Omaha Symphony Christmas Celebration is Broadway show quality, in my opinion. The orchestra music was superb, the singing and dancing were amazing, and I even enjoyed the tap dancing! The whole show was SO WELL DONE! I hope to go every year! If you are interested, there are two performances tomorrow. Not a bad seat in the music hall! Made my day! 👏

We’ll, I tried to update my running holiday blog post today and the software just doesn’t want me to do that, apparently. So, in the meantime here is an upcoming holiday event near Council Bluffs this weekend - at Ditmar’s Orchard and Vineyard. The event begins tomorrow, December 6, at 5 pm. More details about it later when I work out the technical issues. In the meantime, tickets are available for “A Country Christmas” at the link below.

Visit one of the most beautiful places in Omaha during the holidays! Omaha’s Lauritzen Gardens is celebrating with special, themed nights called Bright Nights. It is absolutely MAGICAL! Have kids or grandkids? They’ll have a blast with special activities just for them. Special food and drinks are available. There are numerous photo opportunities too. Let me show you more below!

At Lauritzen Gardens in Omaha tonight for the opening of Bright Nights of the Merry and Bright holiday event running from today until December 31, 2024. It is absolutely lovely, festive, and full of light! Check out my blog page tomorrow for more info about that and other holiday events!

Have you heard? Lauritzen Gardens in Omaha is building a new children’s garden right behind their main entry building. It is hoped that the garden will be open next Spring. I walked by it today and things are moving along! So fun!!!
