Madeira was extremely busy with tourism in 2022, and many people found themselves stranded without a place to stay, calling me from the airport to check if I had a room.

2023 is expected to be an even busier year so book early , our little country home up above the airport area is centrally located to set up base camp to trek the whole island and close enough to Funchal for your evenings out.

We have been awarded the Travellers award by booking.com, come stay with us in our cozy townhouse overlooking the sea.

Madeira island nicknamed "Pearl of the Atlantic" temperature 23 degrees now at the coastal towns, and with its micro climates it can be much colder up the mountains.
