Six years since I literaly surprised everyone I know and just randomly changed my facebook relationship status to married one day out of the blue. 😅

Our wedding day was anything but traditional, and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way. Instead of the big, elaborate wedding, we chose to elope during our Disney vacation- something very “on-brand” for me, and also set the expectation to my husband that there would be many more Disney vacations in his future.

From a simple courthouse ceremony to enjoying the magic of Disney afterwards, it just goes to show that you don’t need a grand budget to create a magical experience that’s uniquely yours.

The other fun thing about getting married “at” Disney? For the last 5 years, we have gone back to Disney to celebrate our anniversary.
This is the first (& hopefully last) year we are celebrating at home. But looking back on all we’ve accomplished, two homes, new jobs/promotions, fostering countless puppies, having a baby, going back to school while raising a baby, graduating, starting a little business, and all of the little things inbetween... I couldn’t be more greatful to do it all with my husband.

This will be our last trip to Disney World for the time being, as our trip in May has been switched to Disneyland, and with all the changes coming to the park in 2025- we want to make sure we get to experience as many rides as possible before they are changed/closed while also making sure we take time to enjoy the holiday.

🦕 Starting with Dinoland, as we all know by now, my beloved Dinoland is closing, so I need to soak up every last minute of it.
Please correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe TriceraTop Spin and the carnival games close on Jan 12th. I also haven’t seen an official confirmation, but I’ve seen the rumors that Dinosaur may stay open a little longer. Still, this may be my last opportunity, so I am taking advantage of it.

🐸  Next is Hollywood. Muppet*Vision 3D is closing to make way for Monsters Inc. It’s been a few years since I’ve seen the show, so we’re all going to go see it while we can... and then head over to Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster because the Muppets replace Aerosmith.
Then for lunch, were dining at the Brown Derby so we can have preferred seating for Fantasmic.

🌎 There is a lot of holiday magic happening at Epcot, including

• Candlelight Processional (5PM, 6:45PM, 8:15PM) 🕯️
• Santa meet-and-greet at The Odyssey (until Dec 24) 🎅

• “Glimmering Greenhouses” at Living with the Land 🌿

It’s a lot- but fingers crossed, we can get everything checked off our list!

📱 My Disney Experience App: This is the easiest way to find your resort’s laundry room(s). Open the app, select your resort, and look under “Guest Services.”
💰 Costs: Most resorts charge $3 per wash and $3 per dry. Detergent is available in vending machines for about $1 per single-use box. Or, you can pack your own detergent pods to save money and ensure you’re using your preferred brand.
⏰ Best Time: Early mornings (think 6-7 AM) are usually the least crowded. I know, I know - who wants to do laundry that early on vacation? But trust me, it’s worth it. You can start a load, grab a coffee, enjoy some quiet time, have breakfast, or get ready for your day while your clothes are washing.
🏰 DVC Villas: If you’re staying in a Disney Vacation Club villa with one or more bedrooms, you’re in luck! These rooms come with in-room washers, dryers, and a complimentary box of detergent.
👚 Valet Services: For those who want to avoid laundry altogether, you can opt for the valet laundry and dry cleaning services. It’s pricier, but hey, you’re on vacation!
🌟 LaundryView: This nifty website lets you check machine availability in real time. This is a game-changer because now you will know if all the machines are in use BEFORE walking down to the laundry room with your clothes.
🧳 Pre-Checkout Wash: Here’s my favorite hack - do a load the morning of check-out. Coming home with a suitcase full of clean clothes is THE BEST feeling.
🏊‍♀️ Pool-Side Convenience: Most laundry facilities are located near resort pools. So, if you’re not a morning person, you can multi-task by starting a load and then enjoying some pool time. Just don’t forget to set a timer!
💡 Pack Smart: Knowing you can do laundry means you can pack lighter- Which means more room for souvenirs!

Disney announces: ⚡️LIGHTNING LANE PREMIER PASS⚡️

For both Disneyland AND Disney World, How it Works!

Lightning Lane Premier Pass will be offered in very limited quantities and will give guests one-time entry to each available Lightning Lane entrance in the theme park they are visiting that day. This includes attractions included in both Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Single Pass, but with Lightning Lane Premier Pass, guests do not need to select an experience time. Lightning Lane Premier Pass will be a premium offering, and prices will vary based on the date and theme park guests are visiting.

For Disneyland✨

Beginning for first use October 23rd, 2024, the Lightning Lane Premier Pass will be available first come, first served beginning two days in advance of a theme park reservation and will be valid for use in both theme parks.

For Disney World✨

Beginning for first use October 30th, 2024, when Lightning Lane Premier Pass launches, it will be available to guests staying at Disney Deluxe or Deluxe Villa Resorts and may be purchased up to seven days in advance of their stay. It will only be valid for use in one park of the guest’s choice per day.

These little charms have been my favorite way to add a touch of Disney magic to my everyday life for YEARS. Now, I can’t wait to share that joy with all of you!

My origianl plan was to preview these charms when they arrived, with a launch in December when I hit my actual 1-year mark, (and receive my branded packaging), but this first batch of charms came last week during the thick of Hurricane Milton. With so many important updates coming from Florida locals, I decided to hold off on sharing the news. I wanted to make sure those crucial messages weren’t overshadowed.

Disney has just released their deals for early 2025, so this morning I was able to surprise a few of my clients by telling them that I saved them some money on their upcoming Disney vacations! 🎉✨

Disney has launched some incredible promotions, including discounts of up to $200 off per night on select room-and-ticket packages for stays from February 26 to June 30, 2025. We’re talking major savings at some of your favorite resorts like the Grand Floridian, Polynesian 🌺, and even the All-Star Resorts. ⭐️

For those planning to visit during early 2025, there are additional savings opportunities. Clients can save up to 25% on rooms from February 23 to April 30, with even better rates available during specific nights in January and February. This includes popular resorts like the Animal Kingdom Lodge 🦁 and Beach Club Resort.🌊

But wait, there’s even more! If you’re a Florida resident, you could save up to 30% on rooms for stays from February 23 to April 30, 2025. And for all you Annual Passholders out there, get ready for this – you could save up to 35% on rooms during the same period

🏨 Stepping up to Moderate resorts, you’ll find a more relaxed atmosphere with lush landscaping and more subtle theming. The rooms are more spacious, & some can accommodate up to five guests. You’ll enjoy table-service restaurants + food courts, giving you more dining flexibility. 🌴 The pools are also a significant upgrade, featuring water slides & hot tubs.

👑 Deluxe resorts are where Disney truly pulls out all the stops. These hotels offer the highest level of luxury & convenience, featuring stunning lobbies, world-class dining options, & elaborate pools. Many Deluxe Resorts offer direct transportation to parks via monorail, boat, or walking paths, maximizing your park time. LET’S TALK ABOUT LIGHTNING LANE MULTI PASS ⚡️
One of the most common questions I get asked in my DMs is whether or not I think the new lightning lane system is worth it. I have seen so many mixed reviews about the changes, so I really wanted to wait until I could experience it firsthand before answering this question.

For those unfamiliar, Lightning Lane Multi Pass is Disney’s updated skip-the-line service that replaced FastPass and Genie+. It provides access to shorter queues for popular attractions. 📅✨

One major benefit was being able to book our first three ride selections up to seven days in advance (if staying at a Disney hotel). This made planning our day much easier, especially with a toddler. 😌☁️

Flexibility is key when traveling with kids. The option to modify or cancel ride selections was a huge plus. Unlike Genie+, which felt cumbersome to me, LLMP allowed us to adapt our plans easily, accommodating spontaneous breaks without stress. 🍦💕
We were also able to seamlessly hop between parks & book rides at different locations throughout the day. 🦘🏰

Another big perk for us was how LLMP eliminated the need for rider switch. My husband and I could enjoy shorter wait times while taking turns keeping our toddler entertained, making the experience more enjoyable for all of us. 🎡💖

Lightning Lane Single Pass:
The option to purchase access to individual high-demand rides through the Lightning Lane Single Pass was definitely a splurge but worth it for our family’s priorities—like riding Guardians without the hassle of waking up earl or being in the park at 1 PM. 🎢👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

So, do I think it’s worth the splurge? Yes. ⏳🌈
Reducing wait times is crucial when visiting the parks w/ young children. LL allowed us to experience more attractions while still taking necessary breaks.
+ The ability to choose which rides and times worked best for our family BEFORE purchasing was another significant advantage. It ensured we got the most value out of our visit and, tailored our experience according to our preferences and appreciate all that Disney has to offer. 🎠🎉
