I owe the passion running through my veins for hunting, fishing, and the outdoors to him. Looking back, Grandpa took me on my first deer hunt at 12 years old and since then I’ve been hooked. His introduction to hunting and the outdoors, coupled with my drive for school sports, kept me on the straight and narrow in my youth; I was rarely in trouble during those good ole’ school days. A big thank yo
u to my grandpa "Ed" for helping me build the foundation I would stand for the rest of my life. As I grew up and started to make my own money, I wanted to expand my hunting opportunities. An employee of our family business was a waterfowl fanatic and invited me on a hunt at a local reservoir for duck and geese; that’s when the waterfowl bug bit me. I the following years I can remember standing in waist high water in flooded swamps hunting wood ducks. It was like I couldn’t get enough and hunted waterfowl with my friends as much as I could. That same employee introduced my second mentor "Jim" who invited me to come along on a sea duck hunt in the New Jersey bay. I had never experienced a sea duck hunt so I accepted. I will never forget the memories of hunting out of that layout boat out in the middle of the bay. We were rocking and bobbing and were trying to shoot those ducks flying what seemed like 80 mph sometimes 2 feet above the water. Shortly after that, I was invited by him on my first out of state big game hunt for whitetails in Texas. I shared my mentor’s passion for hunting and that started a lifelong friendship between us. I owe him for exposing me to a whole other aspect of the hunting world, from hunts in the US to Mexico and Canada. If it weren’t for him I probably never would have experienced these “opportunities of a lifetime.”
Alberta was on my list of places to visit. When I finally had the opportunity to go, I was amazed at the big game opportunities but had not realized the amount of waterfowl habitat. It was phenomenal! The amount of birds I saw in Canada inspired my thinking process. My several hunting adventures in Alberta led me to an amazing guide and great friend of 25 plus years. In fact, we started taking about the waterfowl outfitting opportunities in the providence and he said to me, “You should just do it!!!” This my friends is how the birth of Callin N Fallin Outfitters LTD began. Having gone on several guided hunts over the years (some good and some bad), I promised myself that I would build CNFO on the basis of great customer service. I want myself and the staff to always treat the clients as they would want to be treated if they were the hunt. This model has worked for me in the past in other businesses, as well as in my personal life. I envision clients booking with CNFO and leaving our hunting adventures as friends!! I am blessed to have the opportunity to share my passion for hunting through CNFO. I thoroughly enjoy helping people with their outdoor journeys. I am also a strong believer in taking kids and women hunting or fishing in order to preserve this privileged heritage!!! Always be safe and good hunting to all!!!
