Be sure to put getting a reservation for Going to the Sun Road on your "to do" list if you're planning to vacation with us next summer! We fully support GNP's ongoing tweaks to their reservation system--- maybe not the end-all yet, but it really does get better every year. Be sure to ask a local for ideas that don't involve trying to park at Logan Pass. There are a whole slew of other ways to have amazing experiences in our Park and we're happy to share ideas with our guests.

Glacier National Park will implement a pilot vehicle reservation system in 2024, beginning May 24 for the west side of Going-to-the-Sun Road and North Fork and on July 1 for Many Glacier. This will be the fourth year of piloting vehicle reservations in the park. The pilots help test the effectiveness of different approaches to manage high traffic volumes within the park while delivering quality visitor experiences. During an open comment period for 2024 Visitor Use Management Strategies, a total of 1,408 comments were received. Input from these comments has helped inform strategies for how visitors will access park areas in the summer of 2024. Baby Ridge Update:

The Parkers received some hopeful news today after meeting with a neurologist from Salt Lake City. The doctor is almost certain that Ridge's health problems are not neurological. Unfortunately, they haven't yet figured out what is causing the issues. Tomorrow Ridge will undergo more testing to include genetic testing, to try to get answers.
