After finding fragments of baby blue egg shells on the deck, we have been watching mother robin. The babies are visible as she feeds them her foraged treats. She feeds them, then goes back out for more. She seems to know now that we mean them no harm. Mother Nature at its finest. 🐦✌️
It’s Earth Day, and what and a great way to clebrate. On a visit yesterday to Floyd’s Spikenard Bee Sanctuary, we were fortunate enough to witness the gathering of a swarm. The bees were huddled around the queen in a ball on the trunk of a tree. The keeper shook the bees into an empty box, with the hopes the queen would fall inside. Once the queen was inside the box, the rest would follow her. It was evident the queen did fall inside the box as the bees eventually went inside. It was quite the experience as the bees were buzzing all around us. No one was stung. ✌️
Our first Harmony Fest was a success, because of these beautiful souls and the awesome friends (family) who helped by just being present in this special moment, Thank you Virginia Hollow. This will be a lasting memory...❤️🙏✌️
