It took a lot for me to get here. It took a loss of a loved one to get here sooner than I thought. It took courage for me to live here. It took vision to move here. It took planning to leave the United States. It took moving through fear to leave the comfort of the known. It took almost a year for me to feel fully settled, to embrace my new life, and to find the part of me that was diminished for so many years. THANK YOU PANAMA! ❤️😍🥰🇵🇦🎉💃🏽

THE WALK HOME. Every step that I have taken during my journey has taught me more about myself and my friends than I could have ever imagined.
1. It showed my resiliency.
2. Each step taught me when to ask for help (and/or that help came because friends saw that I needed it).
3. It displayed community in and the US.
4. Each step gave me a sense of belonging.
5. It presented the struggle of letting go of a professional identity.
6. It reinforced the understanding that things will get done in due time.
7. It taught me the process of embracing ease.

Thank you to those that have helped me to move to and to those that have made the transition an easy one. I AM HOME and am forever grateful! Gracias! 🇵🇦💃🏽🎉🌎

Achieving one of your dreams can be both exciting and scary at the same time. Moving to was much harder than I had expected being . There were times where my body just gave out during the move but I made it with the help of a friend . I am excited to take this journey one step at a time, embracing the process, and myself.
